Growth Is Still an Engineering Problem — Your Agent Stack Just Changed the Tools

Desde el escritorio · por qué importa

If you're deploying agents to do work, you still have to get users in the door, and the founders who treat that as a system to instrument rather than a story to tell will win the channel before everyone else figures out it exists.

Austen Allred's guide treats user acquisition the way a good engineer treats a bug: isolate the variable, measure the output, iterate until the signal is clean. The core discipline is funnel instrumentation — knowing exactly where users drop, which channel brought the ones who stayed, and what single metric tells you whether the whole machine is working or lying to you. The guide's real edge is its emphasis on underpriced channels: find the place where attention is cheap because competitors haven't gotten there yet, extract value, and move before efficiency catches up with you.

When agents handle the actual delivery of your product, acquisition loops can close faster than any human team could manage, which means the instrumentation Allred demands becomes non-negotiable rather than merely useful. An agent can onboard a new user, run a campaign variant, and log the outcome in the time it takes a human to open a spreadsheet — but only if you built the measurement layer first. The underpriced-channel logic also bends interestingly: agent-assisted outreach, automated content seeding, and programmatic community participation are all currently underpriced precisely because most teams haven't figured out where the trust ceiling sits.

Llévate esto a tu agente
  • Instrument before you scale — agents amplify noise as readily as signal
  • find your one metric and make every agent action traceable back to it
  • the underpriced channel right now is the one your competitors are afraid to let agents touch.
