If you're offloading every customer touch to an agent before you've personally felt the friction, you're automating your ignorance. Graham's argument is more urgent now, not less.

If your agents do great work once and users never come back on their own, you haven't built a product — you've built a vending machine. Eyal's framework is the fix.

Ben Horowitz wrote the definitive book for founders who discover that the hard part is never the strategy — it is keeping yourself functional when everything is on fire. That lesson lands differently now that the fire can start in a prompt chain.

James Clear spent years watching people set ambitious targets and then fail them predictably, not from lack of motivation but from lack of architecture. If you're designing agents that touch customers, money, or decisions, that gap is your problem now.

Andrew Chen's framework for network cold-starts maps almost perfectly onto the trust and adoption problem every AI-native founder faces right now, before the flywheel is spinning.

If your agents can deploy a feature before your team has decided whether it's worth building, you have a sequencing problem that no amount of speed will fix. Cagan's framework is the antidote you need before your backlog becomes a liability.

If your agent stack is producing output faster than you can tell whether any of it matters, you have a speed problem disguised as a productivity win.

Kahneman's core finding isn't that humans are irrational — it's that fast, confident, and wrong travel together by default. Founders deploying agents need to hear that now, because every agent you ship is, structurally, a System 1 machine running at scale.

If you are shipping agents and assuming the product will pull customers in on its own, Weinberg and Mares wrote this book specifically to disabuse you of that notion. Distribution is the work, and agents can now run most of it.

If you're building with agents, your biggest blind spot isn't the model — it's the customer conversation you think went well but didn't. Fix that before you automate anything.

If your agents are executing on assumptions anyone can Google, you haven't found your secret yet — and without one, you're just automating the median.

Founders wiring agents into their companies are recreating the exact failure Andrew Chen documented in marketplaces: launching everything at once and getting a ghost town. The fix is the same — engineer one atomic unit that sustains itself.
